Control Unleased is a class based on the book "Control Unleashed" by Leslie McDevitt. It is not an obedience or agility class but is designed to help you and your dog learn to cope with the environment. The classes will be held both inside and outside depending on the availability of the building.
Before the class begins, please be sure your dog is comfortable in a crate. Every class, you will need to bring a crate and a mat or bed that your dog is comfortable on. You may also want to bring a chair for yourself and something for you to sit on while you sit on the ground. I highly recommend that prior to class, you get a copy of "Control Unleashed" by Leslie McDevitt. It is available at cleanrun.com. Please read at least the "first night" class so that you will understand the concepts that I'll be going over. We'll be following the concepts in the book closely.
On the first night, please do not allow your dogs to interact with each other. We will set up the class to keep all the dogs at a distance at which they are comfortable.
If you're interested in enrolling in this class, please let Marta know as soon as possible. Paperwork will be available the first night of class.
