Just wanted to let you know that we named the pup we picked up last Friday afternoon. We named him McKay of the Bay. But mostly we just call him Mac! He is settling in fine. Mac keeps us busy, kind of like having a toddler again. He is doing well with being housebroken. The few accidents have been due to our lack of paying attention to signals. He is really smart and continues to be happy and full of energy on the ground and like a kitten when you pick him up. He "works" the hose daily and the boys are having a blast with the Frisbees and balls. He is getting better with the lead and walking. He is eating just fine. Can't wait for my husband to meet him-he is due back from Iraq this weekend. When is the best age for formal obedience training? Like a class, not just the rules of the house.

After spending the afternoon with my wife, youngest son, and I, our new puppy got to meet the rest of his new family. I'm not sure who was more excited, my three kids or our puppy. He's going to be, and in fact already is, a wonderful addition to our family, even if I did have to sleep on the kitchen floor with him last night.
Thanks so much! We'll work always to be worth of Sam's unconditional love!

Finn’s now 25 pounds and a great ball enthusiast. Every day we walk over to the pier at 6am and again at 5pm, for ball toss, rock climbing and chasing pigeons: a whispered “that’ll do…Finn PIGEONS” always gets an immediate flash and sweep upward of wings.
He practically inhales his kibble, attends woodwind quintet rehearsals where he tears around the yard with Lucy, a formerly timid border collie rescue dog and plays Frisbee Tuesday nights at Wagner College.
My Dad’s dog Sandy is living with us now. Finn has become an expert at grabbing her dropped leash and dragging her for me to recatch “Get Sandy” has become his top job. She helps by babysitting him and being the resident punching bag.

Well, she has a name. Kandi. She is doing wonderful, so sweet and easy going about everything. She didn't make a mess in the kennel last night and did all her business outside like a champ. Orion loves her to death, but I think Trinity is a little jealous.

Ricochet is quite different from Zigzag. I am sure he is doing things that he never thought he would be doing. Of course, you know that he wasn't used to a leash but we have mastered that pretty well. You may also know that he did not like to get dirty, well, we have overcome that obstacle. He can now go through the barnyard without that fear. You may not have known that he did not like to have his feet washed with a water hose. He now knows that when we are finished with the milking that he has to have his feet washed off.
So far he is doing pretty well. He is not afraid of the cows. He likes to play with the calves and the cats. At first he didn't bother the cats but now he is like Zigzag and likes to see them run. If they won't run they are no fun.

Just wanted to let you know that Gracie is doing fine! We love her to death!
Chance is great, he really likes her. I figured he would!
She is going to be quite a handful. She runs and plays like crazy already, not a care in the world about anything. Follows Chance all around the yard, the snow didn't even slow her down. We only take her out to go potty, but she will just run off and play!
She's doing great with the 'potty' business already, but she has some issues, sleeping at night, she decides that it's play time about 2:00 in the morning! She seems hungry all the time, Gary says that's just what puppies do!
Anyway, we love her dearly, see you soon!

Update on our little guy : Just want to let you know that he is doing fine and growing ! He enjoyed yesterday's snowflakes. He behaves pretty well in the house; we take him out often to keep the housebreaking training going though. He is still a "chow hound" and lives up to his name as he likes to "rogue" around the house looking for anything good to eat that might be on the floor. We enjoy him!

I just got a letter from the American Kennel Club saying they want me to write an article about Chase and how we got started in agility and how we train. You have truly given me the most amazing dog, and I can't thank you enough!!!! Tell Wynn I say Happy Birthday. Her and her brother are now big two year-olds!!! Also, the puppies that were born are the most gorgeous things I think I have ever seen. Thank you so much!!!

Maxine has been doing excellent in her new home and is just about housebroken in just a few days. Myles gets along with her very well.

Our Maggie whom we purchased from you is a constant joy for us...she is truly an amazing dog.
We look forward to purchasing another puppy from you when available.

Hey Doreen, Sinful got her Novice title this weekend after only 4 tries and 3 blues. I received lots of compliments this weekend.

I just wanted to let you know that "Rex" and I made it home after a long day in the office and a car about 9:30 p.m. Rex was a great boy all day long and is now comfortably home. He is absolutely fantastic! He has taken well to being in the house and his crate with only 2 accidents and ironically he did that in the bathroom!
We took him to the vet yesterday, so he is all set. We couldn't be happier!

Merlin is quite the little character. She has a ferocious appetite. When we came home, all the snack bones that Sierra didn't eat and left lying around were quickly devoured by Merlin. She will whine when you first put her in the crate but as long as you ignore her, it stops. She follows Sierra around everywhere and even steals her toys. Sierra is being very patient with her and will even play with her from time to time.
I worked out last night and placed them both in the crate together and to my surprise, they both curled up with one another. Merlin is not afraid of anything. She was out playing with the other dogs today and kept right up with them. She is now showing herding behaviors with Sierra. A good down position, wait and then herd. Oh and an occasional foot in the air. Only a few little accidents, but for the most part, she is very easy to train. Goes right away.
Thank you for the little bundle of joy!

We've decided to name our newest edition of the family Tallulah, Lula for short. She has been an absolute pleasure! and smart as a whip! She seems to be adjusting well and has brought this family a lot of joy and excitement!

Just a little message to tell you that the little guy is doing great! He is doing great on the leash, already running to chase Angel, and he seems to never be tired. I live on the first floor, and on the second day he already found enough coordination to climb the entire set of stairs! I'm already working with him on sit and stay, and he is starting to get it. He's such a cool guy. I'm having a blast with him. Thank you so much for the little guy.

Just wanted to say how great and wonderful the puppy is. He has bonded and adjusted very nicely so far and is a joy and pleasure (bar the peeing and poopee). Since it has been 10 years since I had a pup, I had forgotten how often they go. But he seems pretty smart so I don't think housebreaking will take real long. Thanks for such a nice pup.

My son picked up our puppy from you last Friday. I just wanted to thank you. He is already the most spoiled dog you can imagine. We already love him so much.

I spoke to you about getting a "brother" for Lukas, a puppy that I purchased from you about two years ago or so... I was looking at your website, and saw that you have a couple of male puppies coming up, in which one, might be a perfect addition for my family.
My beautiful 2 year old loves Lukas!!! She calls him by name, and he adores her! This is why I want another... He loves us so much, and he is the child that we cannot have...
Currently we want a brother for him. So when we decided to look, of course, you were the first breeder that we even considered!! We are very interested in purchasing another puppy from you. We want a "brother" for Lukas and another beautiful dog to call our child!
I look forward to extending my family with your help.

He has been the best boy - doing what he needs outside - appetite is not a problem - into chewing, but that is to be expected. Does not like the crate when we go to bed at night, with or without a Cavalier - that will get better. He has a nice easy going personality and is doing some playing with Caitlin, the youngest. Bonnie does not even pay him any mind - that will change as he grows.
He has found a hole under the fence and is able to get into the "big yard" where the agility equipment is. He has tested out the the Walk and the Teeter, been through the tunnel and puts two feet on the A-Frame. He has almost gave me heart failure, so now everything is off the ground for his protection. He is having a good time and we are enjoying him. Thought you would like to know.

The puppy is doing great. I had everyone at work check him out and he looks great. He eats like a little pig; he had a little soft stool this afternoon probably just the stress of being in a new place. Kobe is pretending the puppy is not here although he did try to play with him once. I'll keep you posted.

I purchased my puppy, McKinley, from you back in May. He is growing into a wonderful young dog, and his herding instincts are unbelievable! I can't thank you enough for McKinley...he has been a wonderful addition to our family.
